YOUNG CARERS

Title: Wearing My Wings
"You’re carrying the weight of the world. Take that weight off, lay it down. It’s not yours to carry anymore, if not for this simple reason, it is heavy.
Rest.
Your light is infinite, your courage is astonishing. It is easy to lose sight of that when you have to carry so much.
When you’re holding it all together, take time to pause. We need to sometimes offer ourselves the same level of kindness that we freely give to others.
Either strap on your “wings” to take yourself away and refresh, or take them off in times when you just need to rest.
Be kind to yourself, you are strong, but even butterflies need to be still at times."
